The methodology specialist's role of prevention and his self-education

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of the school prevention methodologist and his/her further training possibilities. The theoretical part is divided into five large chapters. The first chapter deals with the school environment. The second chapter deals with introduces us to types of risky cho- behavior. The third chapter deals with prevention. The fourth chapter focuses on the counselling department of primary schools and the last one on the prevention method itself and the topics related to it. In the practical part I try to present the work of the school prevention methodologist and compare how practice coincides with theory. For the purpose of this investigation, I obtained eight interviews with school prevention methodologists to determine their expertise, support and cooperation, and opportunities for further training.
Comparison of primary prevention at the second level of elementary schools in Most and Prague

The diploma thesis Comparison of primary prevention at the second level of elementary schools in Most and Prague discusses the implementation of primary prevention at the second level of elemetary school in these two selected locations. The diploma thesis is thematically divided into six chapters. The first part defines the basic terminology related to the topic of primary prevention. This section also contains information about particular topics of risky behavior and counsulting services of elementary schools. The second part follows a survey among school prevention methodologists in Most and Prague. The objective of the following practical part is to identify and compare what form and under what conditions is implemented primary prevention of risky behavior among pupils of the second level of elementary schools. For the survey was used quantitative method, in the form of a questionnaire divided between school prevention methodologists in both cities. In the final part there are interpreted the data obtained in the survey, which confirmed that in both areas there are different approaches to the implementation of primary prevention at the second levels of elementary schools. PSE as One of the Possibilities of Primary Prevention

This thesis is focused on the possibility of using Personal and Social Education in implementing effective primary prevention program in elementary schools. After the theoretical analysis of primary prevention and Personal and Social Education, the second part of the thesis presents and analyzes a proposed model of prolonged non-specific primary prevention, which is based mainly on the activities of school prevention methodologist. The methodologist is educated in social pedagogy and professionally trained in Personal and Social Education. The school prevention methodologist is employed full-time for this position, he does not teach any other subject but Personal and Social Education. In this part of the thesis there are discussed demands on school prevention methodologist activities and difficulties of presented primary prevention model. The last chapter presents supporting research that took place at four elementary schools in Prague. Observations of the teaching Personal and Social Education, conversations with its teacher and also an analysis of the Minimum Preventive Program of the school were made there.
Problematic pupil from the teacher's perspective

The main aim of the thesis is to map out problematic pupil from the teacher's perspectvie, specifically the perspective of school prevention methodologhist. In the theoretical part, it mentions problematic behavior in general. The following chapters deal specifically with problematic behavior at school. There are mentioned its causes, the differences between the pupil with behavioral disorders and the pupil with problematic behavior as well as the characteristics of the problem child. The third chapter deals with the troubled pupil's family and the communication between school and parents. In the next part of the text there are mentioned some researches, which focused on the perception of the problematic pupils from the teachers point of view, their relationship and their approach, including the personality of pedagogue and burnout syndrome sub-chapters. Support of health in the curriculum of the Nursing College and Secondary Nursing School in Prague 1

The topic of the following thesis is the health promotion included in curriculum of Special Medical High School and Medical High School in Prague 1. The aim of a qualitative research is to find out how the school adopted the possibility of health promotion in its curriculum and other educational documents, what is the life style of the teachers and their particular experience in health promotion during their classes. Three different data collecting techniques were used when doing the research: semi- structured interviews with selected teachers; class observation; analysis of relevant pedagogical documents. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the history and presence of the schools selected, pedagogical documents and also with chosen pedagogical staff. Further it informs about specific school health support projects. The practical part contains final results of qualitative research which shows that the topic of health support is included in many areas of chosen documents. Its following realization depends not only on financial possibilities and capacity of the school but mainly on particular teachers and their responsible approach to this issue within their lessons and lifestyle. Mapping the implementation of school-based prevention of risk behaviour at elementary schools in Prague 6

Background: School prevention programs of risky behavior should be an important part of the education of children and adolescents. The programs are implemented by each school individually according to the elaborated Minimum Preventive Program (MPP) and their mediation and implementation is supervised by the school prevention methodologist (ŠMP). Within the Prague 6 City District, there is close cooperation between ŠMP, the prevention methodologist from the pedagogical- psychological counseling center and the drug coordinator. The aim of this cooperation is to ensure quality of prevention in local schools and in the wider community of the municipality. Objectives: The aim of the study is to map the process of implementation of programs of general school primary prevention of risky behavior in primary schools in the administrative district of Prague 6 in terms of performance of the function of the ŠMP, elaboration of MPP and implementation of preventive programs. Safe climate at elementary schools in Třebíč with focus on bullying and cyberbullying

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of safe climate in primary schools of Třebíč, focusing on bullying and cyberbullying. It is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part describes bullying, cyberbullying and prevention, in the practical part, you can find its research and results. The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to map the system of prevention at primary schools in Třebíč. The partial aim was to find out whether there is bullying and cyberbullying in these elementary schools and how to deal with it. Qualitative research was used to achieve the goals. A semi-structured interview technique was used to identify specific information. The sample consisted of school prevention methodologists and workers of low-threshold facilities for children and youth. Their answers were subsequently processed and the system of prevention in Třebíč schools was described. The results show that primary schools are based on a safe climate and therefore pay close attention to the prevention. Schools follow the methodological instructions of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports to prevent and deal with bullying and cyberbullying. The bachelor thesis and its results can bring a comprehensive view of the prevention against bullying and cyberbullying in primary schools of Třebíč. This work is beneficial for parents of children entering elementary school. Furthermore, it can serve as a basis for prevention methodologies, social workers and others dealing with bullying and cyberbullying.
